Here’s a simple checklist every trailer owner should follow:


Keep Your Trailer Road-Ready


Simple maintenance checks can prevent costly repairs and keep you moving.

  • Check tire pressure (including spare) 
  • Inspect tires for cracks, bulges, or uneven wear 
  • Test brake lights, turn signals, and running lights 
  • Ensure hitch is locked and secure 
  • Attach and cross safety chains

  • Secure and balance load (10–15% tongue weight) 
  • Verify license plate is visible and current
